Lost Voices

From Silence to Accountability

Breaking the Silence

Forums, Campaigns & Petitions

Share Story & Experience

Breaking the Silence is about naming a moral crisis that continues when abuse, neglect, and systemic failure are minimized, hidden, ignored, or buried. Group homes and special care homes have a duty not just to serve, but to uphold accountability, be transparent, and respect care rights. When that duty is breached, silence becomes complicity, and speaking out transforms into an act of protection and justice.

It is only with the collective voice that change will happen. This means families, guardians, and legal authorities of care can have a private, safe platform to document, track, and record the struggles, abuse, and refusal of care services. By doing so, they promote accountability and advocate for care rights, addressing the systemic failure that has silenced these lost voices.

Join us for our upcoming events and help support our mission of accountability. From community gatherings, town halls, policy forums, or public petitions, we offer a variety of opportunities to get involved in bringing awareness to care rights and addressing systemic failure. Together, we can refine programs for better service delivery while ensuring our laws are enforced in states that care for and protect the most vulnerable in our society.
