Breaking the Silence is about naming a moral crisis that persists when abuse, neglect and systemic failure are minimized, hidden, ignored or buried. Group homes, special care homes carry a duty not just to serve, but to be accountable, transparent and rights-respecting.
When that duty is breached, silence becomes complicity and speaking out becomes an act of protection and justice.
It is only with the collective voice that change will happening. That means families, guardians and legal authority of care can have a private, safe platform to document, track and record the struggles, abuse and refusal of care and services for these lost voices.
Join us for our upcoming events and help support our mission. From community gatherings, town hall, policy forms or public petitions, we offer a variety of opportunities to get involved to bring awareness, refine programs for better service delivery while ensuring our laws are enforced in states that re to care and protect the most vulnerable in our society.
