The experiences shared with Advocates for Access reveal patterns that are too often dismissed when families are isolated, and concerns are framed as individual complaints rather than as collective documentation of issues.

People who depend on publicly funded care are deeply loved by their families. In turn, these families place their trust in governments, service providers, and communities to act with integrity, competence, and care. When that trust is broken, and when harm, exclusion, or neglect is ignored despite sustained effort, love alone is not enough to secure protection or reform.

Advocates for Access exists to ensure that lived experiences are documented, respected, and counted. What has been overlooked in isolation can no longer be dismissed when viewed collectively. Accountability begins with visibility.
